The Coin&Coin index tracks the digital currency spot price every minute.

Mini Contract

In order to be able to maintain a more active index, the price index of the mini contract is composite, which means the price is built from multiple exchanges. If an exchange stops service or the price has a significant deviation, Coin&Coin services may automatically remove that constituent from the index until trading resumes.

Perpetual Contract

In order to maintain a more stable index, the price index of the perpetual contract is built from one exchange or multiple constituent exchanges. If an exchange stops service or the price has a significant deviation, Coin&Coin services may automatically remove that constituent from the index until trading resumes.

Due to the different ways in which the price index is generated, the mini contract and the perpetual contract price indexes are different.
