KYC Level and Limits

According to the terms of service, Coin&Coin users need to submit the corresponding documents for KYC certification, and can obtain the corresponding authority of the trading platform. The platform uses a 256-bit encryption algorithm to encrypt user data to properly protect user privacy.

The KYC is divided into three levels, as shown in the following figure:

KYC 1

KYC 1 required information

  • Nationality

  • Name

  • Passport number

  • Passport expiry date

  • A scanned copy or photo of the passport information page (as shown below)

KYC 1 common reasons of fail

  • The uploaded passport photo is incorrect

  • The uploaded passport photo is unrecognizable (photo reflection, blur, inability to identify the information on the passport or note)

  • The uploaded passport photo does not match the completed passport information

  • Valid passport expired

KYC 2

KYC 2 required information

  • Handheld passport information page + handwritten note + self-portrait in the camera.

  • Requirement: The passport information page is unobstructed, the handwritten note indicates 'Coin&Coin' 'date of the day', and the personal face is unobstructed (as shown below).

KYC 2 common reasons of fail

  • Upload passport photo only (no handwritten note)

  • Upload handwritten note only (no passport photo)

  • The user is not in the camera or the face is covered

  • The uploaded passport photo is unrecognizable (photo reflection, blur, inability to identify the information on the passport or note)

KYC 2 certification operation

KYC 3

KYC 3 required information

  • Living country

  • Residential address

  • Residential city

  • Photograph or scanned copy of the relevant proof of address: such as property bills, water, electricity, gas bills, etc., including your name and address (example below)

KYC 3 common reasons of fail

  • The uploaded passport photo is unrecognizable (photo reflection, blur, inability to identify the information on the bill)

  • The uploaded address proof photo does not contain both the name and the address
